News from Cllr Keeling

Thanks to funding from the UK Government’s Rural England Prosperity Fund, we have invested over £200,000 in projects in 2024-2025 to improve access and connectivity across our rural communities.
Projects supported have included a new off-road path delivered by the Moretonhampstead Community Trust who were awarded over £10,000.
The new path in Moretonhampstead links directly to the Wray Valley Trail making a safe and accessible path, perfect for walking, cycling, wheelchairs, and pushchairs.
💡 Grants of up to £75,000 are now available for community projects through the Rural Economy and Communities Fund.
These grants are available for capital projects involving new or significantly refurbished assets that deliver wider community benefits.
We would encourage as many local groups as possible and organisations to apply.
